Garry Welch is currently CEO of Path Broadband, a wireless service provider that delivers critical last-mile multi-megabit connectivity to consumers and businesses.

Mr. Welch has served in several capacities in the wireless, Internet and software industries. He was CEO of WireCutter, a wireless short message service company; executive vice president at Capital Stream; and an ASP serving the financial services industry. Previously, Mr. Welch was senior vice president, responsible for business development and field operations, at Activate, a CMGi streaming media operating company.

For more than 20 years prior to Activate, Mr. Welch held several senior positions while working for McCaw Cellular, AT&T, Lucent Technologies, and General Electric. He was vice president, National Account Services, for McCaw Cellular Communications, where he had P&L responsibility nationally for the Fortune 500 and government markets.

Mr. Welch was also executive vice president, Marketing and Sales, for Bridgeway Corp., a privately held company specializing in advanced communications software products targeted at Internet and global telecommunications service providers. He began his career with General Electric and is a graduate of GE's Manufacturing Management Program.

Mr. Welch received his bachelor of science from Southwest Missouri State University, an M.B.A. from Santa Clara University and SMSU. He has completed the Strategic Marketing Management program at the Harvard Business School.
