We are currently recruiting for a Software Engineer. 

Responsibilities:

• Design and development of enterprise-strength J2EE-based applications 
• This position requires someone who has strong computer science fundamentals and solid experience with industry-standard technologies and industry-best practices
• We are looking for an innovative software engineer who is able to contribute in all aspects of the software development lifecycle: from requirements to design, development, test and to release and customer success

Qualifications:

• Expert in Java and C++, with some experience in Socket and HTTP programming
• Expert in WebSphere, Weblogic or JBoss application servers on Windows and Linux platforms
• Strong experience with J2EE/J2ME technologies and development practices
• Familiarity with database design and data modeling (SQL, XML)
• Proficient in development process and tools: IDE’s, compilers, debuggers, profilers, version control systems, code coverage and automated testing tools

• Excellent written and verbal communication and presentation skills
• Must be able to work in a fast-paced team environment with minimal supervision
• Positive attitude and ability to “get things done”

Skills/ Experiences:

• 7 + years of software development experience, 5 + years experience in J2EE application framework

• Experience developing Large Scale High Reliability applications

• Skilled in evaluation of design tradeoffs and performance, fault tolerance, and scalability in system design
• Experience with secure systems development strongly desired
• Prior participation in agile software development processes desired, with emphasis on requirements gathering, milestone-based development and triage

 Education:

Candidate should possess a technical undergraduate degree in computer science or equivalent experience and may likely possess a technical graduate degree. The graduate degree is not required, but provides further evidence of the goal orientation and intellectual capacity of the individual we seek.
